About our move out cleaning

Moving out is one of those jobs where the to-do list never seems to end, and the last thing you want to do is spend your final hours scrubbing baseboards. That is where a move out cleaning service comes in. It is a deep, top-to-bottom clean designed to leave a rental or sold home in move-in condition, so you can hand over the keys without the stress.

Our crew arrives with a full kit: all-purpose cleaners, degreasers, glass cleaner, microfiber cloths, scrub brushes, and a vacuum with attachments. We work room by room, starting with the kitchen and bathrooms because they take the most attention. We wipe down cabinets inside and out, clean drawers, degrease the stove and hood, scrub the tub and tile, and disinfect the toilet. Then we move to living areas, dusting vents, wiping baseboards, cleaning light fixtures, and vacuuming under furniture.

The time and cost of a move out clean depend on a few things. The size of the home matters, obviously, but so does the condition. A property that has had years of built-up grime or heavy cooking will take longer than one that is lightly lived in. Access also plays a part: if the home is empty, we can move faster, but if furniture is still in place, we have to work around it. The number of bathrooms and whether you have pets also affect the scope.

On the day of the clean, we protect the floors with drop cloths where we are working and use care around any remaining items. We tidy up as we go, leaving the property looking fresh and ready. Before we arrive, make sure the place is empty or that we know what furniture is staying. After we finish, you can do a final walkthrough, and if you notice anything we missed, just let us know and we will come back to make it right.

One of the biggest differences between a standard cleaning and a move out clean is the level of detail. Landlords and property managers often check the spots that get overlooked in a regular wipe-down: the top of the refrigerator, the inside of the oven, the track of the sliding glass door, and the corners of the baseboards. We make a point to hit those areas because they are the ones that can cost you your deposit.

We also handle the little things that add up, like cleaning the inside of the microwave, wiping down the washer and dryer, and degreasing the range hood filter. If you have blinds, we dust each slat. If the windows have water spots, we use a squeegee and a streak-free cleaner. The goal is to make the home look as close to new as possible, so the next tenant or owner starts fresh.

Inside-Out Cabinet Detail

We remove everything from cabinets and drawers, wipe down the interior surfaces, and clean the tracks. This is a spot landlords check, and it is often missed by a standard clean.

Degreaser on Kitchen Surfaces

Kitchen grease builds up on cabinets, backsplashes, and the range hood. We use a degreaser that cuts through that film, leaving surfaces clean and ready for the next tenant.

How the job runs

Our 4-step move out cleaning process

01

Walkthrough and Estimate

We start with a quick walkthrough of the property to see the condition and note any problem areas. Then we give you a clear estimate based on the size and what needs attention.

02

Top-to-Bottom Cleaning

We clean each room from the top down, starting with ceilings and vents, then walls and baseboards, and finally floors. We use the right cleaners for each surface, from glass to tile to wood.

03

Kitchen and Bath Focus

We give extra attention to the kitchen and bathrooms, scrubbing the oven, stovetop, sink, tub, shower, and toilet. We also wipe down the exterior of appliances and clean the inside of the refrigerator if needed.

04

Final Inspection

Before we leave, we do a final walkthrough to check for any missed spots. We look at the details like light switches, door frames, and window sills, and we make sure everything is polished and ready.
